Senior Backend Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our server-side applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend frameworks, databases, and cloud environments, along with the ability to architect scalable solutions. You will collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-performance and secure applications. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for building reliable backend systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Optimize database design, queries, and overall system performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Stay updated with new backend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages (Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or similar).
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with API design, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, security, and scalability best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
